You MUST AGREE on shipping with your fellow swapper via the website, whether shipping is priority, parcel or UPS.
You MUST ship your item within 5 days of swap agreement.
All packages must be sent with delivery confirmation; this is MANDATORY.
FAILURE TO SEND A TOY WITHOUT DELIVERY CONFIRMATION WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION FROM TOYSWAP.
Delivery confirmation is free if you
purchase your postage online using priority mail at USPS.com, or is available at a very low cost for standard mail. With USPS.com you don't ever have to go to the post office, AND your mailman will simply pick
up at your front door!
If you are using another service other than USPS, a tracking number is still necessary. USPS offers
free priority boxes and mailers, or check your local stores (grocery, drug stores) for free boxes.
Secured Swapping Option
To secure and protect your swapping, here is how we suggest you do it. It is simply a suggestion - PayPal is its own entity, and we simply are giving you an option to think about.
Example: If you are swapping a toy valued at $50.00, Paypal each other $50.00 under item purchased category creating an evenly swapped money exchange. Next, send the toys to each other.
Paypal protects you if an item is not shipped - shipper will have to show proof of shipment thru delivery confirmation - if it is not provided, you will be refunded your money and so you will not have lost anything. You will recover the value of the toy you shipped. Also, delivery confirmation is MANDATORY to prove you shipped as a shipper.
Shipping insurance is the only guarantee for both swappers if doing a secure swap option. We suggest adding insurance as well, you can also add insurance to any swap after a swap has been completed. Just PayPal your fellow swapper to let them know you want insurance.
As swappers create a great reputation for themselves on this site, you may not feel it necessary to choose this option. You will see through their feedback that they are reliable. We at Toyswap want to give you a choice you will be comfortable with, so we created this Paypal suggestion as well.
